And, I would also mail postcards to the owners of the entire list.The most effective contact will be to get out of the car, knock on the door and leave a flier if no one answers.

If you want them to see your offer, you have to knock on the door or send a letter or post card. 

In the past, I've sent postcards and letters, with some success. 

I've got cards and while I'm not conducting a mass campaign to thousands of homeowners on a list (baby steps), I'm sending postcards to about 20 homeowners of boarded up/abandoned homes I found while walking around Brooklyn.Very open to Networking, so if you know of any clubs/groups in NYC or would like to talk/connect to see how we could possibly help one another, send me a message!

I am going to be using mailers (post cards initially) to target people who may be interested in selling.

If I were just starting I would buy a list from here and mail them a postcard right away!

@Josh Caldwell this is something I have been thinking about, to the point of possibly making up postcard type flyers and emailing them to everyone in pre-foreclosure, etc...I throw an ad on craigslist as well.

The tasks I need this person to do are:Answer emailsSend direct mail that is not set on automatic (as in my driving for dollars list that I compile daily/weekly)Skip trace the returned postcards Send offers on zillow & craigslistData mine (code enforcement lists, etc)Upload content on social mediaAs you see this list does not require any communication skills as it is all over the computer, so I'm looking for someone that likes to do data entry and be in front of a computer all day.  

We drop a postcard in the mail to where the property tax bill is going if there's any suspicion.
