Most likely the REIA will bring in different speakers each month who speak about relevant subjects to investing, plus there's usually networking before and after the event.

I am a motivational youth/Christian speaker and am looking to expand my financial freedom, because of the lack of funds it provides.

We always have a speaker and working on sponsors to cater it.  

You basically spend some time networking, listening to a guest speaker promote something that may or may not pertain to you, and then talk and network again.

Not a formally sponsored event and no guest speaker or anything.

In my experience with the seminar, the team and speaker were really nice and passionate about teaching, and I could tell they knew what they were talking about.

I also have presented live and virtual seminars and webinars at investor organizations around the country and have seen many of the "best" speakers during the 40 years I've been in the business, some of who have also taught multifamily investing.  

A speaker at a wealth building conference advised us to set up Roth IRAs for our children early in their lives to take advantage of the longer compounding time until they reach retirement age. 

I've attended a local wholesaling seminar and hit a few of the REIA meetings (last TBREIA meeting had Tracy Caywood as a speaker which was very cool!).
