LLCs are a legal tool, not a tax one.Transfer from personal name to LLC/Due On Sale ClauseIf one is transferring property title from personal name, a Grant/Warranty Deed would be drafted/recorded to transfer title.

I saw people work very hard, they just didn't know what was told them at the sales event wasn't true and they did not have the tools to succeed because it wasn't the companies intention from my experience.

Plus the diversification you noted and it's a great estate planning tool (if we still have stepped up basis).
