I bought my first deal this past May, a 3 story 4bed/2bath Victorian home.

It is a Victorian triplex in a very nice area about 20 minutes from where I live.

I also try to stay away from Victorian age or older buildings because their bathrooms are always wrong (pre indoor toilet days).

I'm currently under contract on a 1902 Victorian in Northern California and have run into a giant hiccup - I can't find home owner's insurance!

I own a 5500 sq ft lot with a 2200 sq ft victorian on it in Uptown, West City Park, Denver. 

I quickly fell in love with the Victorian homes in the city and now that I see myself living here long term, I'm interested in investing in rental property for myself.I look forward to being a part of this awesome community!

The prices are very low - you can buy a downtown Victorian home for less than $100k in Tecumseh and $60k in Adrian.

The property has an old Victorian style house on the front that has been used as a hair salon for the past 27 years.

So a townhouse style 4 or 6 plex with yards and washers and dryers and separate utilities is far superior to a converted Victorian with no yard, no laundry and shared utilities. 

What I mean by that is one house could be a 2 bed room 1 bath rambler on a 10 acre plot, and their neighbor would be a house with 4 beds and 3 bath with 2 car garage, followed by a victorian style mansion...
