I am sure you have all sort of spreadsheets and formulas on your PC.

I also use a tablet pc with a wacom screen.

The closest thing I have ever gotten to subscribing to a real estate program is my membership at the Chicago Public Library.

If there is enough response, maybe there could even eventually be a BP library where people could find these exceptional reads.

You have to be careful to get the kindle to send up your current reading location or the iPhone (iPad, pc version, etc) will lag behind.

Go to a well stocked library and check out 10 or 15 good books, and devour them. 75% of the info will overlap, but the repetition is GOOD for you as a beginner.

That idea sent me to the bookstore and then to the library.

You might also want to spend some time in the library reading about architectural history and trends, or just looking at an MLS and start guessing when the property was built.

I'm guessing you've done the basics of using different death records services online and the newspapers obit records at the local library?
