A lease over two years violates the DOS.Frankly, what constitutes a conveyance of an equitable interest that may cloud title will be what a lender says it is, as they can proceed and the only way to stop them is a counter suit for a judicial process or paying off the loan.I'd be calling the state insurance commissioner, the state AG as it sounds an agent is pulling your leg.
