Your stoves, fridges, microwaves, and furniture in a furnished unit can change tax status.

Mostly major, but lots of minor things will prevent traditional FHA financing: leaking roof, no stove, no floor coverings, Any rotting wood, small trip hazards, functioning kitchens/bathrooms/heating etc.  

We are also replacing the stove and fridge and it is ready to go. 

Let me know if there are any hiccups getting paid the commission or any advice on collecting it.Also, you mentioned they replaced the carpet and stove.... was this something you negotiated or was this an unexpected improvement?  

There were only minor changes needed to turn the apartment to an office, For instance, an office does not need a bathtub, a stove, so these would have to be removed.He first approached the city and he was told what I was told, everything was to be ripped out, and put in again.

We made a few changes to the layout of the kitchen & dining area, removed an old wood stove, installed new windows, all new kitchen & bathrooms, flooring, paint, fixtures, etc.
