I have several properties in Illinois on the Iowa border.

According to Trulia, it’s in a “Low” crime area but borders a “Moderate” crime area.My husband and I own a total of 8 SFR rentals in Indianapolis – all around the same price, all purchased in 2015 through the same turnkey company, all personally seen/visited by me before purchase.

The weather keeps people coming in, unlike, say, Detroit, and we have 4 hard borders, being Mexico, the Pacific, the mountains and the military base, Camp Pendleton.

My understanding is you can postpone the the fed tax, but CA will still want theirs if you cross the border.

I also really like painted floors a couple rugs and a painted border.... all sorts of fun stuff .. it might even be cute.  

Our WORST draft person is a border line architect but takes FOREVER and charges around 350 an hour!!

One would think it'd get cleaned up bordering stadiums and also College Park.

Definitely do take a look across the border in NW Indiana, where taxes are much lower and the landlord environment is much friendlier.

I am looking to do something similar once the border opens.

I'm in North San Jose bordering Milpitas while the @Pete Tam and @Jay Dao are from Milpitas.
