In some cases they're still functional, but the doors don't close right, they've got 10 coats of paint on the hinges, etc.

I'm not sure how the dust sample test works but there would still be lead paint hidden under other coats of paint.

So far only 1 coat and it's much better and need to go check it to see any bleed through.
