@Mark Gallagher  not really I got my Brokers RE license in MS.. and it was like taking a drivers test a little pamphlet show up at the state department..  13 total questions  I got 11 correct and there you go newly minted broker in MS.. now to be fair that was a reciprocal with my California brokers license .. someone starting from scratch has to take the federal part and I suspect the state of MS part is more than 13 questions.. but you know you play the hand your dealt.

I've been in the DC area now for 4 years and have not appraised since I left MS.  

I'm just at the point of evaluating this business and think I was lucky to find this site.  It appears to be what I need to make a good decision.  I'm extremely interested in this business and want to learn as much as...

Hello everyone my name is Philip Linton, I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast mid-way between Mobile and Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Apparently, the suckers want to believe that they will get the equivalent education of a MS in Real Estate; what they actually get is a couple of bad real estate books!

I remember one house in jackson MS i had a loan on and my borrower had a tenant in there and she was from LA and was starting to waffle on paying me so I happened to be in Jackson and swung by the home.. there was a moving van you know moving the few furnishing most tenants have and of course the big screens..

Find somewhere off the beaten path...Jackson MS, Fayetteville AR, Tulsa OK, Omaha NE, SE Wisconsin...Good Luck..if you want to PM any questions about how I vetted people and different companies or just general questions from someone new at this too, please feel free!
