I totally agree with you that the dust hasn’t begun to settle on how or what the brokerage industry will look like in 6 months or 6 years.  

I'm leaning towards getting the house then quitting the job a few months after I'm settled and having tenants pay most/all of the mortgage.

I did have to work subject-to current financing rate with the lender, but once that was settled it all worked out.

I'm originally from San Francisco and settled on Columbus, OH back in 2021 as my main market before moving here to focus on it full-time.

The house was built in 1913, so I'd be very surprised if there were any new settling.

So, if the facts are what they sound like they might very well prefer to settle but you won't get a settlement without taking an action!

Most cases don't go to trial, they settle, but you need to know the worst case scenario to determine if it's worth it to pursue.

But whatever date the majority settles on, I'll go with it and see how I can make it.ThanksTony
