My current partner has a Swedish passport but isn't Swedish and speaks several languages.

There's a real need for summer housing for students who do summer internships, or they are in campus housing and it's either not allowed or too expensive for them to stay in campus housing over the summer.What I did with the international students, is I made a copy of their visa (inside their passport that says they can be here as a student for such and such dates) and I copied their passport with photo, too.  

You can ask to see the visa in his passport.  

They are serious students, from my experience and quiet, and responsible.What I did was copied their passport and the visa inside.  

They want to help them find housing.I'd get a copy of their ID and passport and copy the visa inside that showed they were here legally for a job.I didn't worry about vetting them beyond that.  

I also copied their passport and work visa.And what you can do, is just put them on a month to month agreement, in case there are problems.I had great luck renting to techies from other countries.  

And international students will have passports with visas. 

They should have asked to photocopy the passport + visa for their records.

You may need to provide proof of ownership and a driver's license, passport other ID.3.

Going to zero debt is a waste of capital to me as it could have been productively deployed for various other activities, eg further investments, long term capital improvements, enlarging my wine cellar and adding more customs stamps to my passport :grin:
