While longevity can certainly be a factor to demonstrate intent it is not a specific requirement.Further than that most conservative professionals would say that a hold time of more than a year will usually satisfy intent.  

This steep increase in housing cost has encouraged a generation of high tech workers to become job hoppers bouncing from one company to another since there is no longer a pension favoring longevity or loyalty.

It's when you buy it right, understand the basics and can learn while you grow that creates longevity in this business I feel.

Savage is a great city and based on the price of that property, I'd guess it is closer to Prior Lake than it is Burnsville (where the housing is cheaper) All the kids from Savage go to Prior Lake so if the property is close to the high school you may get lucky and pull a family moving in with kids that will go to that high school and thus some awesome longevity in that property.
