Once I got over the traditional thinking process that many of us grew up with and embraced the modern REI mindset of leverage and equity growth, I was able to pursue REI.

She is an investor herself, a member of KREIA, and runs a women’s real estate investment group as well.  

Glad to see more women interested in investing.

What if she lives to 105.Talking about living to 105, a women we know from church was looking for an apartment for her mom.

Sounds like the seller (50's aged women) may be in financial struggle but the home most likely has no mortgage since it has been passed down from her parents who have passed. 

It's a rougher neighborhood, but we stood on the corner at 10am on sunday and saw women pushing babies in strollers, all different classes of people as well as a very active Kroger.

I could see PDX really embracing this if they can get their head around it.

The BP Money Podcast, @Scott Trenchs' book, Set for Life, Dave Ramsey's books and radio show, tons of other resources over at ChooseFI.com and the entire FIRE community, all of that is there to help you get it together.On the other hand, in my experience I've seen there's a very large group of slightly older men and women who have some income security, but who are afraid to risk anything at all when it comes to their real estate investments.

Painting is simple but requires patience.I find women are much better than men at painting.
