What I want to hear is “I was transferred out of state and I have to move in 3 weeks and I cannot afford two house or trailer payments.†Now they may be motivated (or dreamers thinking something will drop a bag of cash on the doorstep which is surprisingly common) or not.

I haven't even started REI and already have two delivery carriers out looking for prospects for me.

Or maybe look at selling the big rig and buying a local delivery box truck.

You're SOW (Statement of Work) should clearly define what is to be delivered, who is responsible for what, what is in scope vs. out of scope, and the schedule for execution/delivery. 

Over this past weekend they decided to "bug out" and on October 01, rather than pay their rent, they left their keys on the doorstep of another unit in the building.
