Well,It really can be tricky if you are a real estate professional or if it is a larger apartment community as Federal fair housing law protects recovering alcoholics.However, this really doesn't matter if it is a SFH as they are exempt from this as I understand it.I am kind of on the soft side so I might give him a chance if he seemed like a good guy AND the crimes were not recent.
