From a troubleshooting perspective he can do the most in Quickbooks, then Xero, Quicken the least.Top priorities/concerns:1) Avoid risk of Comingling while remaining economicalThis is the big reason why I don't think Quickbooks online makes sense for my situation.  

Quickbooks has the largest market share when it comes to accounting software.It has also been around a long time so your accountant will likely be familiar with it.He/she can help troubleshoot you with any questions when they arise.

Yes, you want them troubleshooting over the phone, but don't tee that up.

This is not something the bigger pockets community should try trouble shooting for you.

DEFINITELY less than 3%, but they choose to ignore it and then complain that it is not working, but then troubleshoot EVERYTHING but the actual cause.

I can kind of see that for high level design and timer/manifold repairs, but my PM got quoted $500 for a leaky valve replace and T&M at $110 to dig and troubleshoot a wire.  

This will allow you to trouble shoot and questions when they arise.
