Which kind of illustrated my point.I think you misunderstood me.I have nothing against either men or women who are "hot".I have nothing against either men or women who are successful.I have nothing against either men or women who are strippers.I only have issues against stereotypes, such as women who have a purse full of cash must be strippers, or that men who have a briefcase full of cash must be in the mob (or any stereotype).

Still, it's just almost impossible to get everything right- I've made some glaring mistakes on printed materials that are now out there for perpetuity... which is why I do try not to be a snob about it.

Seems as though entering the market during a period of very low rates puts you at a perpetual competitive advantage compared to someone 5 years from now who's forced to borrow at double your rate.

Obviously a bad idea, but statistically some people will get away with it, then come on the forums and say exactly what you mention, perpetuating the cycle.However as you start acquiring more properties, which I'm assuming is most people's goal on here - to have a substantial amount of passive income - the more individual properties you have, the more chance of at least one big ticket item each year.

I'm kind of obsessed with Real estate overall, and never really realized I should maybe try to do something with that obsession, until now ... so here I am.I'm in the process of trying to learn all I can about the industry (there's a lot of information) but I don't want to get stuck in perpetual student mode (which I'm really good at).
