Hi Myles,     I would get your RE licence first and start networking, I find people I talk to everyday doing different RE related.

Ryan - are you and the property in the same jurisdiction (the one where you are {soon to be} licence)?

And when I got my real estate licence, the buyer and seller clients flocked to my office..........Wait, I just got carried away.  

Experience includes; former RE licence, former contractor license, owned a Corp that built pool screen enclosures/sunrooms/decks/patios, flipped houses, rented houses, otp contract generation, residual land only purchases, built residence from the ground up, bought and sold land, condos and villa in costa rica.  

I don't want to be one of those.I really would like to get my licence but my finances don't like me very much right now...lol.

The first thing any Californian was advised to do upon moving to Oregon was change their licence plates to Oregon tags.
