I would be leery about giving anyone a card unless you have a track record with them.If it is a flip we are doing the GC work, we have used a CC which we get points (or miles) on . . . just beware of the interest rates many are charging now which is more than what loan sharks were getting arrested for charging a decade ago . . .

If I pull a gun and call the cops and nothing happens, he's arrested and charged with burglary (probably plea-bargained down to trespassing) and I'm good to go from both a protection and legal perspective.
