Definitely also interested in developing a broader network, but would be great to connect with some folks in the local region. 

OTOH, its possible the loan has a broader calling clause that gives them the ability to call it for a variety of circumstances, perhaps with no reason at all. 

I believe it is a much bigger and broader issue than politics.

I'll address predatory lending and dealing in another thread as it is an underlying issue here, but is much broader and in depth than this matter.I know some don't understand what predatory is, it's basically taking an excessive unfair advantage, that excess is set to norms or as to the average transaction like the subject transaction.

But know your house (investment), your neighborhood (local market) and broader area.

However, my broker recommends traditional finishes (broader appeal) and my husband cannot get down with brass (but he's not going to live there, so...).

Take a long term view, buy what you know, buy the broader market, but by all means buy!

During my broader travels, courtesy of the US Navy, I saw many cultures outside our borders.
