but the taking money and not receiving the note well that's just theft.. seems to me that should be criminal as well. if those allegations are in fact true..  

Came back 4 years later to comment on another posters response and see this correspondence....Not sure if you ever got back into Probates, but I've been targeting for 10 months now....Primarily through direct mail...admittedly need to implement cold calling....but looking to systemize....love to connect if you went on to pursue probates again.

I'd probably tell him that I'd like to see this alleged lien. 

Lol I saw that 1st line and that it was an old post (possibly before the Morris Invest Fraud allegations were so blatantly exposed to the public) skimmed the rest and wanted to bust your chops.

He sent a contractor that admitted to me he was high onnstimulants and he caused severe wayer samage that flooded the living room below and the basement below that.   

I'll admit, I never bothered to properly measure the space, so the lease very clearly said "approximately" for square footage.

This site is such a great resource and we all found each other here, so I think it's worth looking into options of creating a group here.And I have to admit that I've been rolling an idea around in my head for a while of creating a mastermind group focused on women in REI.  

Now I will admit the biggest mistake of my life was not keeping 50 or so more of the 500 or so I flipped, cost me millions.

So Monday morning I get the script I made together and I just go for it and ill admit cold calls are scary but never something I've been afraid of so after about 4 calls I get a guy who is interested in what I have to say and remember this is day two but I am able to get myself through the conversation ask him enough questions to have an idea of what he would be looking for and he was like all right. text me your name and number and let me know when you have some thing.

I admit that the allure of interest-only payment to drive insane profitability from cash flows is attractive; however, I don't see a standard process that the lender follows, but it may just be the affiliate/broker representing them who isn't very formal.
