Found some gold jewelry in one - got over $100 from cash-for-gold dealer.The refrigerator is best just removed without even opening the doors, due to the science experiments contained therein.Funniest one is the one where they were reading a book called "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" - considering that their mortgage was WAAAAYYYY more than a day late, and WAAAAYYYY more than a dollar short :) ....

Some would think nothing of dropping 50/100k, etc on a piece of jewelry or automobile; while others would scoff at the idea of purchasing a large dollar luxury item, and would use that to further invest, ie, buy more properties, invest in stock market, etc.Life is too short, and if you are in a comfortable financial position to be able to afford that "special" something that you've always wanted then I say, "Go for it."

Ask the folks selling jewelry, etc.in their ads, if they will let you know if they found across someone selling their house as part of an estate, and offer to call them if you find something that they want.

And as such, gets to expect to have the home to live in, without being invaded.And, imagine what it would be like to have a horde of complete strangers (and in SF right now, any open house will be a mass infusion of strangers) walking through your home, perhaps looking in your closets, your jewelry box, you medicine cabinets, checking out your stereo, your televisions, your computers....As an owner, do you really want that liability?
