It is a 100 yr old bungalow that after an interior demo I have found that renovating this home is not the most cost effective exit.

Yes, tile demo sucks, but imo in the long run it's worth it to have a cleaner looking install and no tripping hazards.

I’ve been guilty of not always having a dumpster thinking I can fill up the regular trash can once a week… but I’m learning a simple Issue like trash is remedied by having one dumpster in the beginning for demo, another at the end for surplus product/ materials / waste. 

I'm looking at a reasonable 2/1 single family with a *huge* lot that could easily fit a single-wide mobile home if I were to demo a garage on the property (which is dilapidated) . 

I'd leave the tub, it looks fine - then just demo down to the studs, redo the tile (cement backer board, sealer, tile, grout, adhesive) and faucets/valve and move on with it ($200 in parts).

If I want to drop a grand, I'd like to see a demo first.

We have run into this alot....cheaper just to demo and redo the drywall.
