Yes, but not enough to deter native "wholesalers" who may mislead you.Often times people say they are not practicing real estate because they are selling a contract but in reality they're advertising property in a way that constitutes listing it.  

There will ALWAYS be more things to learn in this field so do not think that anyone gets to the point where they know every single aspect and how to react to every scenario.  

Yes many local residents are fighting Airbnb and it will affect many areas because local legislators are pressured to react and create new rules

As a SoCal native and an investor, South Central Los Angeles is a C / C- neighborhood - depending on the area.  

The x factor is foreign events and how the markets react to interest rates rising.
