While it does appear there is *some* flexibility now coming in terms of loan forbearance and some states/counties are being *a little* flexible on taxes these aren't uniform and still come with hardship and problems.

And claim the LLC is just an alter ego.. blah blah balh and you will spend thousands on motions try to isolate the LLC... asset protection at the level most folks have SFR's is VASTLY over blown... unless you have substantial assets to protect.

As to stupid, I'd say that the preceived problems are attempted to be Solved from the Top, Uniformally, to Protect Investor Deposits and it comes out on the street as STUPID. :)
