Lucy, I had researched tax liens a few years ago and could never fully grasp them.

My mind has a hard time grasping what you're saying unless I read one or write one. 

And getting specifics on this area will have to be my next step - as I feel I have a better grasp on the generalities of RE investing.

I am about as new to the RE landscape as they come and have been perusing the forums of BP and others to get a good grasp on what is all entailed when looking to invest in real estate.

Now that you seem to have a solid grasp of the basics, it´s time to start a business plan (wholesaler, buy & hold, flipper etc.) and figure out some specific goals.

I feel I have spent enough time on the sidelines and have a basic grasp on the theory, through hours of reading and watching loads & loads of informative videos.

Sorry to say all of you are wrong this issue has been addressed with some top attorneys and you have to read the clause and fully understand what is written in the letter, A good attorney who has a good grasped of the English langue can fully understand what the letter is saying.

It was very interesting to watch they grasp the concepts but not have to lose money in the market while they learn.John Corey
