Tile floors or high durable and water resistant laminate/linoleum etc, new coat of paint on the inside for sure, maybe new paint on the outside as well if really needed and get some reliable but not fancy appliances.

When mixing this don't make a mess, follow the instructions, and add a little dawn dish soap (helps penetrate waxy leaf coatings).I've personally had ryegrass sprouting with an 80 percent germination rate after 7 days.

Now I do remember from my days in Elect Eng if the older homes elect ground wire is also attached to the Cu pipes & a dis-similar galv coated metal is buried in the soil it may be promoting advanced corrosion/sacrificing of the Cu.

Same for those who smoke inside, I take it off their deposit, because honestly I have to put a fresh coat of paint to cover up the "yellow" on the walls.
