With oil & gas in retreat right now and Exxon-Mobil moving up to The Woodlands, we need to see where the market settles.  

The physical and sexual abuses were beyond belief, and no one seemed to care because I was the mentally retarded, spazzy loser with no way to communicate, and most likely no one who would have cared if I could.I was told that my son would never walk or talk-and that is BEFORE he got sick- and he now, at 20 years old, owns his own home free and clear, teaches extremely basic code to Autistic children[ actually learning with them, not the sterotypical IT Autistic],is working on the third book in a fantasy adventure trilogy he is writing, has cleared most of the trails in the location that will one day be THE Autistic retreat center of the world, and he has already been approached about management there.  

it took about 5 years to recover and by the time of the dot com blast off price were back to 89 highs.. then a little retreat in dot com and 911.. then blast off again until 07 to 09... now we have seen another large run up.

This year we bought a three day business retreat where all the proceeds went to charity but I love your idea for donating the house.  

People loved that swing so much that we took it down and put in inside the house until we get back this week-end for a mini retreat where we are going to be planning an autistic retreat [ retreat is not in pueblo, but up near where we live] Plus...I just adore  working on this place.

Mostly, having the house as a retreat for my escapes from NY adds a huge amount of value (for me) - and that's hard to quantify.  

I'm looking to purchase a condo on the jersey shore as both a family vacation retreat as well as a rental when I'm not there.

Love the idea of the retreat property, which made me rethink an incredibly ugly house here in my neck of the woods...
