Hi Rabia,I didn't use a home equity loan, but instead chose to use a HELOC to purchase our duplex which is an LTR and our vacation rental on the Big Island.

There is also Island County (Oak Harbor) that has a great rental market, partially due to the military population.

I would love to connect to talk about the opportunities in Skagit and Island County. 

Curious about a forum within the South Carolina forums for the Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and perhaps Beaufort SC (all in County of Beaufort).

They did a fantastic job with my cabinets and kitchen island, making my space look fantastic.

And keep in mind there is land cost in that sale price which is a sunk price for us since we buy the dirt from the farmer entitle it and do the horizontal work then go vertical..

some small collections, clean mortgage and 5 year payment history. Does this even exist?

They range from Windsor Hills which is older and closer to Disney; to newer communities like Championsgate, Solara and Windsor Island which are a bit further from Disney but they have larger homes and fantastic resort amenities which make them appealing to guests.

I imagine the trend will land somewhere in the middle--maybe with an island or breakfast bar (or something new like a work-from-home "breakfast/desk"?)
