I think one of the worst legacies of this virus is the further intrusion of government in the lives and businesses of Americans.

Get rid of them, clean the places up, put them back on the market at current market rates, and find well-screened tenants to place under your lease with your rules.Any attempt to "train" the tenant to your policies will be seen as an intrusion and they will resent you.

Some use Infrared Cameras that help a lot or look for signs or damage from water intrusion. 

If I were in your shoes, I would immediately meet several trusted contractors on site to check the roof for leaks, siding/bricks for leaks and to make sure water intrusion is stopped immediately.

I've had to have heavy root intrusion cut out once and I'm sure it's coming again, you can barely see the house and it has turned the front yard into dirt which splatters all over the house.So anyway, yes sometimes it makes sense to take down trees which are damaging or detracting from the house.

But remember, when you accept money from the government you also accept their rules and their intrusion into your business.

Never do gutters before roof because they will need to cut the lip cap which can lead to water intrusion.

I have a system at my principal residence from myalarm it does not require internet and an intrusion will report at their HQ and they report to cops, fire and me.

Any moisture intrusion should be disclosed, but I would ask.  

I'll be grumpy about the intrusion, but I am going to treat this loan as if one day they will come knocking... if/when that day comes, I won't have anything to hide.
