I also think we should abolish the party system and just have a lot of candidates run in a primary, say up to half a dozen, maybe the US could be divided into 6 or 8 sections and each could elect someone who is already a senator, rep, governor or mayor, to run in the primary.

I know that the Governor of MI. is working hard to change investment and update the area to high tech manufacturing and support industries, The golden lining will be identifying properties that are not being used to their highest and best use, a bargin wharehouse that can be converted to solar panel manufacturing or building wind generators....whatever.

According to several people I know there, starting January 1, Governor Crist made it a crime for anyone who is not a mortgage broker or realtor to speak with a bank about another individuals mortgage, i.e. no short sales negotiations etc.Has anyone else heard about this or experienced it?
