Murkowski and Miller

The more I read about this Murkowski/Miller thing, the less this looks like politics and the more it looks like a personal beef Murkowski had with Palin.

Murkowski rose to her level in Alaska through nepotism and Palin on her own and they've been at odds for what looks like 8 years now. It started with Murkowski's father choosing his daughter  to fill his vacant senate seat to become governor...then Palin takes out Murkowski and takes his job as governor and sends Murkowski's Chief of Staff to jail for corruption. Now mad little daughter comes back to rewrite election rules after the election to take Joe Miller's seat. This is almost Shakespearean drama and I doubt we've seen the last of it.

This is going to be a fun one to watch.

I guess Palin is to liberals, what Hillary was to conservatives.

Here is a quote from Sarah Palin today on the Glenn Beck radio show during a discussion about North Korea and their recent escalation with South Korea:

"This speaks to a bigger picture here that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policy. But obviously we’ve gotta stand with our North Korean allies.â€

Makes me glad she's quit her job in politics to pursue acting...our country is clearly much safer now...
