The process of buying or selling a note is not rocket science, understanding what you're really getting into and knowing how to manage situations might rival rocket science, not sure, I'm not a rocket scientist.It can be much easier if you use a broker that you can trust, buy with your money and get a loan servicer, that's investing in notes.

You made the right choice by joining Bigger Pockets BP not British Petroleum BP.There is a wealth of education here and some really cool people who pay it forward by the phrase "the game is to be told, not sold" which is one of the cool things about this community.As soon as you can, become a plus or pro member because then you will open a door to a plethora of info that rivals any college or university anywhere.Good luck to you on your journey, Devan.

However, he sounds like a bitter ex-owner and in no mood to help, but he did say he has plans for the current electrical and plumbing, as well as other documents, receipts to materials (such as where he bought tiles...), invoices from contractors (who did the re-roof...) and papers for all the appliances (which may or may not be handy if some of those are still under warranty...) and he says he would be willing to show them to me and give them to me for a price.
