You will simply not see enough to be able to make an informed judgement of the extent of damage, so a walkthrough is simply required.For my remote flipping, I usually do a FaceTime walkthrough with someone at the property that I can direct and go through a checklist of items.

In addition, you must send certified mail return receipt letters to all lienholders (mortgages, IRS, judgement, etc) who had liens on the date of the auction.

If you work with a savvy contractor, they could actually throw a lien on your property until you pay them for incomplete, shabby workmanship or they can sue you and obtain a judgement and take your property.
