@Ken Root  My suggestion would be to look for someone you can work with from anyone.

You put your business in the hands of an obviously sketchy, obviously poorly rooted individual based on a promise that he could get a job done for a lower price than others like him.

Being from Buffalo I want to get back to my roots and invest there too.
