Mold Remediation

I moved some tenants in yesterday to find out there’s a mold problem in the kitchen. If it takes a week or two to mitigate do I have to move the tenants out? I’m not sure how the laws work or if there’s some defined set of rules for it. They are saying they are asthmatic and I damn sure don’t wish to get sued.
