They have meetings every month as well as invite well knows speakers.

I find different groups tend to have different styles and niches they fill best e.g. more geographically limited, more wholesalers, bringing in speakers from other areas, etc. 

It's how I found this conversation.The NEREIA group that Shaun mentioned: I am the guest speaker this month and the topics is Finding your Niche in Real Estate Investing.

The state convention is coming up in  Sept and there are some super classes and speakers.

Just off the top of my head I can think of like 7 others from Manchester down to the Cape, so lots of opportunity to learn and meet people.Also since she opened the door I happen to be the speaker at the next New England REIA meeting on Wed 7/2 and will be talking about the place I flipped by the sewer plant.  

Job and population growthAn article this week on REBusinessOnline.com discusses favorite southeast markets and says:"The short list for the various speakers’ favorite markets include the usual suspects, namely Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Charlotte and Raleigh."

GAREIA and Atlanta REIA general meetings typically have a speaker who has something to sell.  

I'm also having a big RE networking event at SFSU in Nov this year where I'll have out of state investor speakers/vendors from different markets..
