Rookie from the Bay Area

Hi everyone,

I'm a rookie investor from Mountain View, CA looking to get started in real estate investing. I'm primarily looking to invest somewhere out-of-state (I have no idea where yet) because the market in the bay area is pretty ridiculous. My main goal is to invest in cash-flow properties so that my money can make more money instead of just sitting in the bank. I'm currently in the middle of reading the bigger pockets guide and I look forward to learning from this community.
