And I'm old enough to realize that even though I don't have anything very fancy, when you look at replacing your furniture and clothing and pots and pans and bedding, let alone your electronics, it sure adds up in a hurry.I have never needed my homeowners or renter's insurance policies, but I would never be without them.

If they just have stuff all over the tables and clothes on the floor, or overflowing hampers, I wouldn't worry about it.If you want to do maintenance, and she's not being cooperative, then you'll have to just give her notice of when you will be entering, whether she's home or not, but she's welcome to be there, if she'd like.
