I am currently studying the subject of sales and negotiations in more depth.When negotiating and selling with motivated sellers, I tend to run into sticking points with the sellers, and would like your input on how you would tackle some of these as I'm sure there is someone out there thats already mastered these areas of negotiating and sales.Situation 1- The buyer having a retail number in there mind even though the house is outdated, and trying to sell the value of the all cash number.For example a lead that just came in today called looking to sell his house because his long term tenants of 9yrs are moving out because one of the tenants had a stroke.

It's easier to tackle when you know exactly where you are and what you're facing.Continued success!

Sounds like in your situation you'll probably want to find something a little more turn-key so you don't have to tackle too many repairs or upgrades.

At least then you would know if that is something you want to tackle right away!

Would it be stupid to tackle this without much personal experience?

Are there any diy classes or even local clubs for diyers wanting to tackle projects like cabinet installs/dry walling..etc..etc apart from Home Depot?

When you have done one or two of these jobs, then you will know if you truly like real estate and will be better equipped to tackle larger jobs.  

I was wondering if anyone is interested or had any ideas of where I can meet new and experienced re investors to team up on how to tackle this complex and exciting business opportunity.
