I see alot of unlicensed work going on and its really the developer's neck on the line, but im just a lonely architect who knows nothing in the construction field ;)when wearing the developer's hat, yes i get my maximum for the cheapest price , within reason of course, but that is why i have a leg up in the developing world :)in conclusion, i see both sides of the argument but it comes down to the bottom line and that's reality.
