The taxes on my place are frozen under Tx law due to age and disability and I'm concerned that if I purchase an adjacent plot then the taxes will be reassessed to current market value and then re-frozen.

The problem was she was disabled but didn't get a check and since there's strict laws about evicting persons with disabilities, not considering the fact that shes old, blind and penny less, I was in a mess!!

Usually a trust has several beneficiaries and the trustee manages what ever is in the trust for those beneficiaries, the trust could have additional properties, or investment accounts and may have been started well before the owner became disabled or died.
