My worry isn't so much about the rent being paid and paid on time, but the headache factor...They scored 804 on smartmove, no outstanding CC balances/0 missed payments, no evictions, no disqualifying criminal history (just a speeding ticket)....

Use your HELOC to pay off that CC balance every month on the due date.

For those that lose control of the CC debt great way to bury yourself :)  also I have to imagine it affects your fico if your putting a ton on of money on your CC .. ???

I put my first month of leads on a cc and went for it.

I live in CC in a subsidized 55+ building. 

Also consider if you rented the truck in her name all the insurance etc needs to be on it as your CC will be the security for the truck.  

The last option is their story might be 100% true but experience says it's not worth your time digging through the facts to figure out which is true.On another note, for waitresses, most meals are paid for with a CC and so tips are also paid with CC.

I forgot one more hack - I give my CC # to the subs I use most and just have them run the charge automatically - this way I dont get mail etc.
