If they will be going east of the mountains late spring would be better since the roads can be unpredictable this time of year, especially if they aren't used to driving in snow.Summer will allow them to experience a lot of the outdoor activities available since the weather will be drier and more things will be going on outside.

We also had a washer-drier need replacing and another tenant gave notice as she got pregnant again and couldn't afford to pay the rent.

They get defeated in a few years.. get tired of dumping money into a home only to have the tenant trash it once again.. and then they dump them to the local wholesaler and the cycle continues.. thats the reality.Now I like your thought about pride of ownership.. and where i See that is on some blocks in south side chicago.. and we know that can be a rough and tumble area.. but you will see big signs at the corner of the block announcing a homeowner or resident association and those blocks are very nice.. it takes the residents themselves to lift up the area.
