Remember, 10% of a property worth $1M is worth a lot more to you than 100% of a property worth nothing.Continue looking for funding sources... take out a loan against your car, 401k, life insurance, etc.Your post is sorely lacking in details and those details are all going to be needed before anyone will take you too seriously.

The Bay Area core just doesn't have the stomach to go high density, so RE price has no way to go but up.5% annual appreciation for the next 20 years is very likely IMO.Interestingly enough, I wonder what will self-driving cars do to local RE.

That kind of 'problem' is the hallmark of a disordered tenant.

If there are a ton of for rent signs in the neighborhood that should raise so red flags. 

However when I got there, there was a good vegetation buffer...so no eye-sore.

Continue with that process until it becomes an eye sore or takes away from the property...perhaps another 10yrs down the road.Interior of this property is nice (e.g. quartz, LVP etc.). 

I'd stay clear of boderline personality disorder patients and I somehow managed to not interact with any schizophrenics.

I understand there may be some expenses required to make the property a bit less of an eye sore based on the pictures.
