A new Professor and his wife.

We are moving our financing to a new lender and I will have an appraiser through on December 19 {the tenant is a university professor, so we want to wait until end-of-term exams are complete}, but I have little confidence that either our energy efficiency retrofit will have much of an influence on our appraised value and expect nothing as a result of our rent premium.

I have talked to a couple professors already and had an impressive list of topics to discuss with them.  

I wouldn't touch it unless you fully understand the quiet title suit process.Talk with a real estate law professor at your local university (they're usually quite helpful).My lawyer would tell me to stay away... you usually go for tax-deed sales that provide the least resistance (unless you have reserves for litigation).

He immediately put it up for sale at 5x the price he bought it for.Years passed as he rented out the apartment for a modest rate to students/professors.

Reminds me of the professor at an intro to bussiness class, more years ago then I care to remember.
