I like it in a way that it would force those whom abuse the system to find work, but those that really need the programs would severely be hindered. its a win lose situation and so not so good... even though this is the system we are moving to.

If limited access to capital is hindering your ability to grow, it's time to take the outside-the-box approach and explore asset-driven lending. 

Hi Derek,Cashflow positive real estate will help your ability to qualify for a primary residence mortgage, not hinder, assuming an REI-friendly lender, and that you maintain adequate PITI reserves (if you have healthy retirement accounts, that'll typically do it). 

The license and broker relationship hinders their ability to do 'stuff on the side.'. 

I also feel it would hinder future growth somehow.

I am planning on getting my real estate license at a future point, but I didn't know if it would help or hinder me in wholesales.

I want someone else doing things that hinder me from focusing on what brings the most value to my business.
