I know Branson is known for golf and Table Rock Lake and people tend to snatch up those condos that come with the amenities but I feel like rentals would be limited to good weather only..there has to be a solid percentage of tourists that enjoy the shows and being in town as much as there are people that enjoy the lake and golfing.  

Something as simple as handing out golf clubs at the local putt putt golf, or possibly being a waiter at a very high priced restaurant and taking home good tips.

Random headlining bands would just show up unannounced and play at local clubs. 

The rich get richer, and like George Carlen said--it's a great big club...But given that....don't see the glass as half empty, instead see it as half full.If you want to be a big fish (accredited investor) RISK your investment money in things you think will get you to that goal.

There is a 5 Star Resort there, golf course, beach, and some tasty restaurants.

The government already interfered: It offered financing on terms the market would not offer under unfettered conditions.You and I can sing and dance all we want, but nobody put guns to our heads and forced us to take the financing that the government is now using as a club.
