I don't know quite as much as Detroit but I am pretty sure that prices there are still lower than they were in 2008 before the auto industry there collapsed. 

To the extent that a price reduction may make a "stale" listing appealing, worry not, you will get those notification emails on auto pilot anyways.Start doing the compare and contrast, maybe make a spreadsheet to evaluate opportunities, play a game of "spot the patterns." 

I'm pretty convinced Latchel is just an auto-reponse generator with outsourced support.

Like many of us here, I felt as though my life was on auto-pilot, and I wasn't working towards anything meaningful. 

We send a notice to stop, then the site will auto-ban your account and you'd have to reach out to our support department to get unbanned.

My hope is that the clientele we bring in won't completely trash the place but I realize that is just wishful thinking and that people, regardless of income/ what they are willing to pay, can behave like animals (I was in the auto industry before becoming an attorney and the things I saw walking trades will forever haunt me). 

I agree we should be out of credit card debt, with no auto debt and with an emergency fund prior to buying a primary res with debt.

I recommend finding an agent and have them start sending you auto-listings with their filters.
